on subsequent attempts, the problem re-appears.īTW, other players, like AIMP, for example work just fine, no issues with unicode names whatsoever. I deleted all my playlists and created them again and it works.until I switch to a different playlist and then switch back to the first one I was using, then the names with special characters appear as dashes and the files won't play. Ok, so i did a clean re-install of winamp, got rid of the old plugins (except miniLyrics) and it seemed to be working just fine, but while testing, it started acting-up again, after I created and deleted a few playlists.
